What is it?

Releases allow you to specify S/FTP servers for your repository where you can manually or automatically upload your repository files to a server. This way, you can make some changes and Beanstalk will take care of the annoying details of getting it out to the public or your team.

Mark Challoner on July 7th, 2008 at 6:40 am: This is a great feature, however I have found the automatic deployment to be too slow to implement it within a development workflow (even in the case of a one character change in one file). Is there any chance deployment speed will be increased to reasonable levels?
