The first Beanstalk design rip-off
I noticed a couple incoming links in our account stats for a site called Pointyhack. Usually I check these out to see who reviewed Beanstalk and send out a thanks. Although, when I visited one site it might have looked like a review, but turned out to be a complete rip-off of our app design. I mean complete rip-off. You can check out the site or this screen shot.
I see that he does mention the total rip-off of the application, but apparently our design is worth only $15 in comparison to the paid plan on our site. Of course, I have to admit that we are going in the right direction when people want to steal our designs. :)
Note to Pointyhack: I don’t mind getting ideas for your interface from Beanstalk. As many other web apps, Beanstalk has gathered many layout ideas by using 37 Signals products. But completely copying the entire page is ridiculous.
