Gap, Inc launches new Ajax experience
Gap, Inc recently took a huge bet to rework their ecommerce sites with some unique Ajax tools in the product categories and shopping cart. The changes were made to Gap.com, BananaRepublic.com, and OldNavy.com. Before launching the new sites they actually shut down the previous versions completely, apparently something that helped them gain more attention in the marketplace. The new shopping experience has been delivered quite well. We’ll keep a watch to see how it turns out.
